Bhansali relieved by High Court's verdict on long pending case

By FNN | March 8, 2011, 10:22am IST
Sanjay Leela Bhansali can finally heave a sigh of relief as The Bombay High Court has quashed a case registered against him in 2006 in connection with a fire on the sets of his Big B- Rani Mukherjee starrer Black. It may be recalled that Farida Husseinally, an antique furniture dealer whose furniture was destroyed in the fire which broke out on the sets, had filed a complaint of criminal negligence against Bhansali. Based on that complaint an FIR had also been lodged against him in 2006. However, the final verdict has now been passed and the High Court has put an end to all criminal proceedings against Bhansali with respect to this case.
