Jodi Breakers and Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya First Day Business

Jodi Breakers and Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya both did poor business of around 1.50 crore nett each as per early estimates. The final figures may come out a bit ahead for Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya due to mass centres but it will only be a few lakhs.
Jodi breakers performed better in major metros like Mumbai city, Pune, Delhi NCR, Kolkata and Bangalore while Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya had better collections in the rest of India. Both films were released on around 1000 theatres across the country and a 1.50 crore nett figure is a poor number considering the extensive release. Both films need to show huge jumps if they are to do any worthwhile business.
Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya managed decent collections in Punjab but it was limited to Punjab state only and not the the whole of East Punjab circuit. It also did well in the Maharashtra area.
