Bela Sehgal signs Jeet Ganguly for Farhad Shirin

As we all know, Bela Sehgal is busy shooting her directorial debut film, Shirin Farhad, starring Boman Irani and Farah Khan. Naturally, Sehgal is really excited. "I am working very hard on the film. It's going really well and I am enjoying shooting with Farah and Boman."

Khan will be making her acting debut with this film. "Farah is too good. She will be a surprise package as she is a choreographer, director and a good actress too! The film is three-quarters ready," reveals Sehgal.

Asked when she planned to release the film, she says, "I will release it this year as I don't want to drag it to next year. But I think producer Sanjay Leela Bhansali will decide on that."

When it's a Sanjay Leela Bhansali film, you expect great music. So when we asked who Sehgal had roped in for this romantic comedy, she said, "Jeet Ganguly is the music director and he has composed some great numbers for the film. He is fresh talent and the music is apt to the genre of the film. But there's a lot to be done. So fingers crossed!"
